Is Work Affecting Your Physical Health?
By the time you are getting neck pain at work, chances are that your neck and shoulder muscles and spine have been under considerable stress for months. Stressors can come from many sources such as relationships at home and work, faulty ergonomics, poor posture, deadlines and long hours spent at work. Muscles store stress and can remain chronically tense. Sustained postures shorten connective tissues into that posture. All this leads to irritation of the nerves and early degeneration of the joints. Pain is a warning sign that all is not right and it is time to seek help.
