Toddlers: A Pain In The Back
If you’ve got toddlers at home and experience a bout of back pain you can expect to take longer to recover from your injury.
One client recovering from a prolapsed disc learned the hard way that playing “aeroplanes” with his toddler son aggravated his symptoms and subsequently slowed down the healing process.
Toddlers need to be lifted out of cots, into car seats, up from the floor for a cuddle, down from high chairs, played with and so on. Most of these activities place significant amounts of stress on your back.
So you need to think about avoiding some of these activities or performing them in a way that places less strain on your back.
